An avid music fan, Bob Grisnik is especially interested in Jazz and "Doo-Wop" Rock & Roll, which are, as he points out, two uniquely American genres. In August of 2003, he combined his interest in music and one of his many his civic activities by organizing and promoting his first "oldies" concert as a fund-raiser for the Southampton Lions Club. The the project was enough of a success that it was repeated the following year, and now the shows have become eagerly anticipated, annual events on the East End. Bob has now teamed up with Rob and Laura Albanese of LAR Enterprises to promote "Classic Rock and Roll" Shows for Eastern Long Island. Watch this space for information on upcoming shows.

In addition, to the live "oldies" shows, Southrifty Drug is also the exclusive sponsor of two great Rock & Roll radio shows on WLNG (92.1 FM).

Below, the famous WLNG Remote Unit sports images of all the WLNG DJs as it parks at an event site.
